Professor Majumdar

NIVEDITA MAJUMDAR

Professor Majumdar received her M.A. and M.Phil in English from Delhi University and her Ph.D. in English is from the University of Florida. Her research interests include postcolonial literature, Marxist theory, theories of nationalism and cultural studies. Dr. Majumdar's writings have appeared in ARIEL: A Review of International English Literature, Journal of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Studies, Indian Literature, Doris Lessing Studies, and other scholarly journals. Her edited anthology, The Other Side of Terror: Literary Writings on Terrorism in South Asia will be published shortly. She is also currently working on a book manuscript, In Ariel's Dominion: Critiques of Nationalism in South Asian Literature.
