Paper on a College-wide Event
IF you are attending a dramatic play then use the following criteria to write your paper and be at least 350 words, typed and double spaced:
  1. Summarize the plot. DO NOT write more than three to four sentences.
  2. Do you feel there was an overall message that the play presented? In other words, what did the play mean to you? What did you learn from it? What were the important ideas of this production?
  3. Describe the set and costumes. Did you feel these elements were appropriate? Why?
  4. Evaluate the performances.
  5. Attach your event ticket for proof of attendance.
 
IF you are attending a speech-type presentation the paper should fulfill the following criteria and be at least 350 words, typed and double spaced:
  1. Summarize the event. What was the presentation about and what was done by the presenters? Describe the event.
  2. Purpose of the event. What was the purpose of the presentation? What was the intended goals of the presenters? What did they want to accomplish?
  3. Analysis of the presentation. What were the key aspects or major ideas presented? What were the main ideas presented? Were key points explained? What sorts of supporting evidence was presented to explain and support key ideas?
  4. Evaluation of the presentation. How clear was the information presented? How well did the presenters communicate ideas? How well were the goals accomplished?
