| What are the minimum
requirements for PCs? |
To use web-based
training from MySkillSource, your
PC should have at least a 90-mhz Pentium processor.
Your operating system can be any of the following: Windows 95,
98, NT, or 2000.
Your web browser (either Netscape Communicator or Microsoft
Internet Explorer) should be version 4 or higher. You
will also need the Shockwave plugin.
Your screen resolution: 800x600 at 256 colors.

| How do I install
Shockwave on my PC? |
If you use Netscape Navigator:

Go to http://www.macromedia.com/go/getshockwaveplayer
and click the button that reads “Download
Now.”

Choose the
directory where you wish to save the program installer and
click Save. (Be
sure to write down the name of the file you are downloading as
it appears in the Save As dialog box so you can navigate to it
later.)

Quit your
browser and double click the Shockwave Player installer icon.
Choose which browser you want to install Shockwave into
and click Continue. Your
browser will reopen to the Macromedia Download Center to
complete the installation.

Click OK at each
new window that appears.
A new web browser window will open congratulating you on
your successful download, and a sample Shockwave movie will play
to confirm that Shockwave has been successfully installed.
If you use Internet Explorer:

Go to http://www.macromedia.com/go/getshockwaveplayer
and click the button that reads “
Install Now.”

Click OK when
asked if you wish to install Shockwave. The plugin
will download and install itself.

A new web
browser window will open congratulating you on your
successful download, and a sample Shockwave movie will play to
confirm that Shockwave has been successfully installed.

To use web-based training from MySkillSource, your Mac should have at least a PowerPC 604
processor (found in the Power Macintosh 8500 and later)
Your operating system should be MacOS 8 or MacOS 9.
Your web browser (either Netscape Communicator or Microsoft
Internet Explorer) should be version 4 or higher. You
will also need the Shockwave plugin.

Shockwave on my Mac? |
If you use Netscape
Navigator or Internet Explorer:

and click Install.

Navigate
to the Shockwave Player installer on your desktop.
If it is not on your desktop, use the Finder’s
“Find…” command to locate “Shockwave”.
