Mary Ann McClure received a PhD in philosophy from the

State University of New York at Stony Brook and has done

research in feminist epistemology. Her present project

focuses on the loss of privacy in a postmodern world. Among

her publications are "A Passion to Connect: The Science of

Jane Goodall, Dian Fossey and Birute Galdikas" and "Chaos

Theory and the Feminist Critique of Science: A Complex

Dynamic." She teaches in both the Thematic Studies Program

and the AMP. When not in the classroom, often she can be

spotted swimming laps in the John Jay pool.
