Doctoral Students in Criminal Justice are invited
to access John Jay licensed electronic resources from off
campus in the same way as John
Jay students, faculty and staff-- through the John Jay Library
proxy
server. The proxy server only works if the licensed resources
are
accessed via links on the Library web pages.
Go to the Library’s home page at
http://www.lib.jjay.cuny.edu/.
Some of
the most popular electronic resources
can be access via the Shortcuts
box in the middle of that page.
For all other resources, or to search
for resources by subject, go to
the Electronic Information Resources
page: click on the link on the
left side of the Library’s home
page or
go directly to
http://www.lib.jjay.cuny.edu/infosources/resources.cfm
When you connect to a licensed resource you will be asked for
your
username and password. For Criminal Justice PhD students your
username
is first initial last name with no restriction on length; e.g.,
bnelson,
mweinbaum, rhunter-gatherer
Your password is phdxxxx where xxxx is the last four digits
of your
social security number. International students should use the
last four digits of their Graduate Center ID number.
