Class Requirements:
1.     Attendance is required to all classes. Be on time.
       Your grade will be affected by the number of classes missed.
2.     Assignments are to be handed in on time.
3.     Term Paper due November 20th. Papers should be typed double spaced.
4.     Participation in the discussions is reqiured.
5.     There will be no make up for the midterm exams. Students who miss both midterm exams will receive a failing grade.
6.     Pagers should be in the vibrate mode or off during class.
7.     No eating or drinking is allowed in this class.

Grade:
Grades will be based on three exams and one term paper and attendance.
You will receive one of the following letter grade:
 A, B, C, D, F, WU, INC.
Students should make every effort to avoid grades of WU and INC as financial aid may be affected by these grades.

Guest Speakers will be invited to the class for some topics.

Term Paper:
The term paper is required in order to receive a grade for this course. It must be research paper written in APA style, at least five (5) pages (it may take more to present a good paper). Before writing your paper you must make an appointment to discuss the paper with me. Do not wait for the last minute. Your paper must be original (not written by someone else) and must not be given to any other professor as a term paper. Remember to give credit to the source of your information.

Extra credit:
In order to encourage students to develop their writing and information gathering skills, I will give students the opportunity to do additional work.
