Psy 761: Clinical Interviewing
Syllabus
Centers on the clinical interview
as a means of gathering relevant life data, defining
problems, and resolving
conflicts. Surveys the theory and use of the interview
particularly as related to various counseling theories.
Psy 476: Psychological Analysis of
Criminal Behavior
Syllabus
Advanced analysis of criminal
behavior and various problems confronting the criminal justice
system from a psychological
perspective. Topics include the psychological assessment of
offenders and the psychosocial assessment of various components of the
criminal justice system.
Ethical issues in the assessment and rehabilitation of offenders, and
in researching psycholegal
issues will also be considered. Case studies and student
presentations will be emphasized.
