JEAN MILLS
Jean Mills is an Assistant Professor in the English Department. She
received her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and Ph.D. from The
Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Before joining
John Jay in Fall 2007, she taught at Hunter College, Montclair State
University, and the State University of New York/New Paltz. She
specializes in Virginia Woolf, 20th Century British literature, and
feminist theory. Her publications include articles on Virginia Woolf
and Gertrude Stein. She is currently at work on a book on Virginia
Woolf and the Classics.
