      In Mexico, an average of 82 rapes occur every day. In Mexico, feminists have labored for decades to reduce violence against women. Usually, Mexican women don't report rapes although the authorities don't protect them. However, most of them just suffer their abuse quietly. Some defend themselves, so when they do, they end up being punished for it. This is what happened to Claudia. She was raped, and she defended herself, and she is now on trial for murder. If Claudia is convicted, she faces at least 10 years in prison.
