Fire Science 293: Hazard Identification and Mitigation
Various hazards are identified and mitigation techniques explored in the context of an emergency management program. Specific natural hazards such as earthquakes and floods, as well as man-made hazards, such as hazardous materials spills and transportation accidents are analyzed. Procedures to minimize or abate hazards are developed.
