John Jay College of Criminal Justice offers two, four year fire protection related degree programs. A student taking the Fire Science Program will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree. A student taking the Fire & Emergency Service Program will receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
These programs are designed to prepare the individual for a career in either the public fire protection sector or in the private sector. They will expose the student to theories, philosophies, and practical applications within the fire protection field.
