5/17/02: Here is a copy of the handout concerning the final exam (in Microsoft Word format). Day Students: Remember, all court monitoring forms must be handed in by the date of the final.
5/7/02: The DAY CLASS will have an outside speaker on May 8 (same room in the10th Avenue Building). The NIGHT CLASS will not meet. There will be a quiz for both classes on Monday, May 13 covering the reading assigned for that day.
4/30/02: Here are copies of the handouts from class setting out the schedule for the remainder of the semester in the day class and in the night class (in Microsoft Word format).
3/24/02: DAY CLASS: I received a copy of the new judges' schedule; however, its format makes it very difficult to post on the web. Thus, if you want to monitor over the break, go to any Criminal Court courtroom (use previous monitoring sheet for courtroom locations) and monitor the judge presiding. Be sure to note the name of the judge on the monitoring form. Try not to monitor the same judge more than twice. I will distribute the new schedules in class once we return from break. Remember, you need hand in TWO completed monitoring forms on or before April 1.

3/14/02: As discussed in class, the midterm exam will cover all reading assigned from the beginning of class through the class of March 11. It addition, you are responsible for the material addressed in class from the beginning of the semester through and including the class of March 11. The exam will be made up of short answer and essay questions. When reviewing Damages, be sure to think about how the book fits into the context of the class.
3/11/02: The DAY CLASS will meet on Wednesday, March 13 in Room 636 in the Tenth Avenue building for the outside speaker. The NIGHT CLASS will not meet on Wednesday, March 13. As set out in the syllabus, the midterm exam will be on Monday, March 18.
2/28/02: Here is a copy of the handout setting out the reading assignments for Damages.
2/18/02: The DAY class will meet in the Rathskellar (2nd floor of North Hall by the cafeteria) on Wednesday, Feb. 20. The NIGHT class will meet in the regular classroom.
2/14/02: Here is a copy of the handout concerning paper #1. There is one minor revision from the handout distributed in class dealing with the steps needed to take to retrieve the article on LEXIS, so even if you received the handout in class, follow the steps on this handout to retrieve the article on LEXIS.
2/6/02: Due to illness, we will not be having class today (Wednesday, Feb. 6). The assignment for today on the syllabus will be discussed on Monday, Feb. 11. The assignment for February 11 (contingent fees) will be rescheduled for later in the semester. The assignment for February 13 remains the same.
