Recommended Reading
The following items are offered as incidental reading (the kind you can do in a spare hour or so at the
College library). and are directed to those students with some interest in the topics covered who find,
understandably, that they are dealt with too brief a fashion in the assigned textbook (in any
textbook, for that matter)--thank God for the lectures, you say? The list is one that can grow, especially
with the assistance of students who may suggest topics for inclusion (I'll find suitable readings). All the
books referenced are held, according to their Call Numbers in the College library. I would prefer that you
do this reading within the library and return the book to its proper place on the shelf when done, so that
other interested students may have access; borrowing the book would defeat the purpose of this assistance.
