Immigration in the United States

I chose the topic of immigration in the United States because I work in
an immigration law firm and this topic affects the public directly and
indirectly.  Most Americans fore fathers were immigrants and helped to shape
this country into a great nation.  Unfortunately the country is becoming to
overpopulated to support the immigrants who come to the United States.
Immigrants work within our big companies in the technology, science and
mathematical field and there is constant debate that they are taking away
jobs that belong to Americans.  Immigrants are also willing to work for less
money than the average American, which causes a strain within the workforce.
Some immigrants also flee from there countries because of economic
conditions and eventually depend on the government for welfare.  Taxpayers do
not want to pay for Americans on the welfare system. Should we have to pay
for immigrants on the system, or should we sympathize with them as a
democratic nation and support them with open arms.
I have compiled articles, which show the different perspectives of the
public regarding immigration and how the American government and agencies
addresses these issues.
