O'Hara's Link-o-Mania: Opinions Left, Right & Center, plus Source Sites
One of the sites below--The Progressive Review--has a section entitled "Beyond left and right: Looking beyond America's decadent political paradigms to something better." They have a point, but most of us still use left-right reference points anyway. So that is what I will do in this list of Web Sites that go from far right, to far left, to more moderate places in between. I present these sites so that you can survey the political landscape on your own, and assess the different versions of events.
This kind of variety in reporting gives YOU a chance to make up your own mind. Read left, then right, then look in the middle. Then consider yourself thoroughly manipulated by all sides and go to primary sources--court cases, actual laws, census data--to see just how faithfully all these sources are reporting information. THEN MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND! You are here to learn how to consider various opinions and how to go to the basic data on which those opinions are based. You are not here to accept as gospel anybody's opinion, including mine. Have fun. Professor O'Hara
