Prof. O'Hara's PAD 700 Page

PAD 700 being a course entitled "Introduction to Public Administration" offered by

The Master of Public Administration Program

John Jay College of Criminal Justice

The City University of New York

This site is under construction during the Fall 1998 Semester. I am a trial and error builder so don't be surprised if a link fails, or a page comes up empty, or this whole web site collapses and crushes you underneath. By reading another word--Gotcha!--you have agreed to hold the builder harmless for all pain and suffering caused. Seriously, though, my goal is to have this page make a lot of things easier for students in PAD 700 for Fall 1998. You will find copies of syllabi and other course documents, post-class analyses of our readings and discussions, and links to various web sites that should facilitate your study. Mostly, you will get to these things by clicking on the links below. And you can get back to this page by clicking on the "Back" button on your browser. Good luck. Good learning. And, above all, have a good time. To let me know what you think, or what you want to know, e-mail me at patohara@bellatlantic.net

The links below get you to the notes I prepared after each class met. (Note: list not in # order.)

  Professor O'Hara's Class 4 Notes

  Professor O'Hara's Class 3 Notes

  Professor O'Hara's Class 2 Notes

  Professor O'Hara's Class 5 Notes

Now, if you want notes prepared before each class you can go to Professor Peters' PAD 700 Home Page. Clicking on Professor Peters' page, which you do down below, gets you to the syllabus for PAD 700. She and I use the identical syllabus. Clicking on the weekly headings in the syllabus gets you to Professor Peters pre-class notes. Have fun. Say hello to her for me.
