We are pleased to announce that Ynes Leon has been hired by DASNY and CUNY and assigned to John Jay College to serve as Phase II Project Coordinator. The position involves the coordination of information between John Jay College, the CUNY Department of Design Construction and Management (DDCM), the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) and the Phase II project architect. She will act as the primary contact between the College and the College Community.

Ynes Leon graduated from City College and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) with broad experience in Construction Management and Urban Planning.

She has been involved with the Ellis Island Preservation Project, Van Cortland Mansion Museum Cottage Renovation, the Façade at 911 Broadway at Ladie’s Mile District in New York and mostly recently served as a Deputy Borough Superintendent for the New York City Department of Buildings.

Ynes talents will be an asset throughout our Phase II Project.
