Students study the three fields responsible for protecting the assets of organizations and communities, while concentrating in one of those fields.

We believe that John Jay is the only graduate school where you take courses in all three of the disciplines charged with protecting the lives and property of organizations and communities. Students take key courses that provide them with the knowledge and skills to be effective managers. Our program combines theory with practice. We supply students not only with the current state of knowledge, but also with the tools and theoretical background to stay up-to-date.
Management Students learn what they need to manage personnel and programs in today's rapidly changing and competitive world. They learn how to design and lead organizations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, how to allocate and track funds and resources, and how to manage employees.
