be offering graduate classes in Protection Management and undergraduate
classes in Fire Science at the New York City Fire Academy on Randall's
Island for the 2000 Spring semester beginning in February and the 2000
Summer semester beginning in June 2000.

who wish to register. For those students who have attended classes this
previously at John Jay, either at the main campus or at the Fire Academy
may register by telephone for the spring semester. Anyone who wishes to
attend the spring semester graduate or undergraduate programs who has not
attended before may pick up an admission form at the John Jay College of
Criminal Justice Office of Admissions, located in Room 4205 North Hall,

When the system answers your call,

summer semester - 61999 and for the fall semester - 91999, then hit the

Course Rotation
The proposed schedule is designed to permit completion
of the program in two calendar years, based on attendance one night per
week when classes are in session, with the student completing Public Administration
747: Computer Applications in Public Policy and Management at John Jay
College sometime during the two-year period. (Three sections of Public
Administration 747 are normally offered each semester. The course is also
offered periodically over the Internet.) Fire Protection Management 700:
Introduction to Fire Protection is waived for students with significant
professional experience in the Fire Service. Public Administration 705:
Organization Theory and Management is completed either at John Jay College
or through attendance, with required additional written submissions, at
twelve lectures in the Graduate Lecture Series or alternate lectures and
events as approved by the Program Director. Courses are offered on Wednesday
nights at 6:00-8:00 pm and 8:15-10:15 pm.
