THIS IS ASSIGNMENT 20

1) Complete the chart you started in class by providing specifics and citations within the chart to support your position. (Example: Fritz at fault; taunted Sepoys, "QUOTATION FROM FILM” or PAGE NUMBER from WTWA). To be clear, I need to see the phrase from the film or the page number from the textbook that supports the manner in which you filled out each cell of the chart.

2) Respond to the following question with a paragraph or two of carefully written prose. Avoid vague language; your grade will thrive (or not) on the extent to which you are able to provide specifics.

QUESTION: What are the two the most significant differences in the two interpretations (documentary and WTWA) for our understanding of the Sepoy Revolt’s root causes?

hints:

A) Again, be sure that you have not confused "root" with "proximate" cause, as described in class.

B) Think about differences in the interpretations between which British group in India was "guilty" or "innocent" of having produced the conditions that led to the uprising.
